We are excited to let you know that we will be opening a second fitness studio located at 500 Oriole Parkway in Toronto, just a few minutes away from our current location.

Our new studio space will be dedicated to offering an expanded selection of Group Training Classes, open to people of all ages, all shapes and sizes. Whether you are new to fitness or are very experienced you will find a class that suits you. At Detox we believe that fitness should be open to everyone!

New Class—Afro-Cardio with Tazz

Detox is very pleased to announce the addition of a new class—Afro-Cardio with Tazz running on Mondays from 10:00 – 11:00am.

This class incorporates African and Afro-Caribbean dance movements into high and low-intensity cardio routines designed to get your heart pumping and your body moving. All levels are welcome, routines are taught in a progression format. You are guaranteed to have a good time moving to the exhilarating sounds of African music!

Class instructor Natassia (who goes by the nickname Tazz) also teaches at the prestigious Ballet Creole School. Detox is very proud to welcome Natassia!

Detox Club Welcomes Christian Albarran

DETOX RUNNING CLINIC

We will post any cancellations on the Class Schedule

On Sunday March 28th, we launched our first running clinic. We thought we would try it out with a few people. IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS! It was so nice to be outdoors and feel the freedom of running in the open air. This running clinic will be lead by Justin German, who will be our running coach. For those interested in joining the group, please let us know in advance. We had various levels come out, so whether you are a beginner or intermediate runner, don’t be shy.

The Program will be as follows:

WARM-UP
2 MINUTES RUNNING, 1 MINUTE WALKING
HILL WORK
STRETCH

We will meet @Detox. The running will take place on the running track at Forest Hill Arena. For those who are just starting out, this is a great way to learn. This clinic is also a great for those who want to build their endurance/time and for those who want to be a part of a group and learn about running. We will start with the 2 to 1 ratio (2 minutes running, 1 minute walking) and building from there. Hope to see you there!
